Marbles and Bullets - A filmmakers Reflection (Part 3)

PART 3

Marbles and Bullets is a reflection of our timeless struggle with our differences and how our interactions continue to shape and challenge the cycles of life. Sadly, it is a story of one of the dark sides of the human experience that has proven we’ll never change, only weave in and out of the light and darkness of time and our differences. It is a tide of time tale that balances between the good, bad, and ugly of the human experience within a mythological fable.

On set , shooting Marbles and Bullets, in the Great Smoky Mountains, TN

Currently, in our time of life here in the United States and in many parts of the world, the human experience has once again realigned with the cycle of life when autocracy is again challenging our freedom and way of life. Only this time it is being fueled by a social network of divisive words that are slowly clicking us toward another Civil War of wars and differences.

And this is how and why Marbles and Bullets is not just a movie about the Civil War of the 1800 but how hate over the harmony of the past did not end but continues to challenge our existence on this amazing earth as one. This movie is a classic, timeless story that softly challenges our never-ending struggle with our differences in a mythological, light-hearted, and entertaining way that reflects the dark side of the human spirit. Marbles and Bullets is truly an overwhelmingly relevant, time-capsule film that has the potential to be a timeless reflection of being one with our failure or success with humanity and harmony.

TL;DR:

The essay argues that the movie Marbles and Bullets reflects the ongoing struggle of humanity with differences and how our interactions shape and challenge the cycles of life. It also highlights how the current socio-political environment in the United States and other parts of the world is pushing us towards another civil war, making the movie even more relevant.
